Ask your state senator to protect our state's forests
The
logging industry wants the Legislature to take us back to the last
century, when our state’s forests were treated as nothing more than
timber waiting to be cut.
Under their influence, the House
passed a bill that would require the state to sell the trees in our
state forests for logging, and prevent the public from having a say in
the decision.
Please take a moment to ask your state senator to oppose H.B. 5453.

Preserving Michigan’s Wilderness

protect our public lands from logging, mining and development. As a
result, the state passed laws curbing sales of park land and committed
to creating at least three new protected areas. Read more.
